Will split the review on two points
Pros:- Sales & service staff.
I bought my hero 160 Xtreme bike in 2020 and based on the excellent service and bikes performance I purchased another vehicle Destiny. Now kudos and extreme appreciation to Mithun and Udaya, both the supervisors run the service shop with complete dedication. Many of us customers buy brands based on the performance, Understanding, customer centric compassion and support by these staff like the Mithun and Udaya. Both are humble and upfront explain all the points of the service and realistic time and price. Although some may find service proces high, guys we need to understand gadi liya hai toh maintenance hoga hi. Atleast preventive maintenance toh hoga hi. You can leave your vehicle rest assured that both these supervisors will get the work done in best possible time. They will review and guide their technicians to resolve the issues on the vehicles.
Cons:- Management and support staff
All calls about service are directed to the above two supervisors. Their phones are ringing the whole day unable to handle the shop floor activities. Call center staff that keep calling for service should be delegated with these calls.
Spare parts:- Fortpoint needs to be proactive in stocking basic and critical spares given that this is a major hub now.
Billing:- Billing staff sits in an AC room with an attitude as if they are doing a favour on us. Customers are sweating out waiting in line for billing and the girls inside are doing the work slowly whilst gossiping and giggling.
Customer waiting area:- Fortpoint has kept opened a new waiting area for the customers like car showrooms have. This is good. But mostly often this room is kept locked with fans and AC OFF. On one occasion on informing the billing counter about it the no one bothered to come and ON or check the AC.
Note:- I have been giving my vehicles for servicing every 3 months since 2020. Once again would highlight both supervisors are gems and should be retained and incentivised accordingly. I bought the second vehicle only because of the reliability and trust instilled by them in the brand. These are your Brand ambassadors and champions.
